1. ask sth about sb/sth 表示“问起关于某人或者某事的情况”，比如说，He didn't ask anything about his son. 他没有问起关于他儿子的任何事情。

2. make one's rounds 原意是“巡视”，在歌词中的意义跟hang around差不多，表示“停留，逗留”。女孩听见别人提起从前的男友，为了不让别人发现她的忧伤，只能拼命的忍住泪水，try to make tears disappear。

9. misery 表示“肉体或者精神上的痛苦，难受”，比如说，He's living in misery and want. 他在贫困中生活。Nobody wants to lead a life of misery. 没有人想过痛苦的生活。
